About Us
After having my son in 2021, during the pandemic, I faced my own struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety. When my son was just 13 weeks old, I reached a breaking point, and my aunt came to my rescue. She didn’t do anything complicated—she just mothered me. I held my baby, and she held me, helping me foster a sense of self-confidence and newfound identity as a parent.
This challenging time sparked a career pivot, leading me to explore the perinatal world. After a decade of working in hospital-based settings as an occupational therapist (OT), I now support new families with lactation, breastfeeding, and infant feeding. Combining my background and perspective as an OT and my training as a lactation counselor, I am able to consider how each family is functioning within their new and changed environment, with infant feeding at the center.
